	Yes, this is exactly one of the down sides to the degree 
	process. 
	
	I am all for both certification and degree programs,
	however, I think that it is important to talk about the 
	process some first. 

	What would make a degree program or a major in SysAdmin

	I wonder how many companies would be willing to help fund
	a system admin minor program?
	
	With Higher Ed fiscal cut backs, it is not likely that 
	state universities will be creating new programs like this
	without partnering and direct sponsorship from companies.
