I would like to thank everyone who has responded.  The name will now 
resolve, may never
know what the actual problem was.  In doing a traceroute to mti.com.tw 
from my work,
it would hang at one point.  In doing a trace from my home, it would 
pass thru the same
point without delay.  I did send mail to mti.com.tw and it is possible 
that they found the
problem and fixed it, or the the site in question above found they had a 
problem and fixed
it.  Either way it is now working, really would like to know what the 
problem was but
will probably die before I find out.
