I think this is the same problem as:

You'll have to ask someone at Sun to look at the ticket notes and tell
you what the fix or workaround is.

(This is because of a long story involving Sun tickets... new tickets
now has public details, but old tickets are private because of improper
way of entering data in the past. I've seen the full explanation for the
ticket notes issue from Scott Howard @ Sun Microsystems Australia.)
