[SAGE] LPIC?

Hi All,

As far as vendor NON-specific certifications go, what do you all think 
of LPIC (Linux Professional Institute) certs (in terms of recognition)? 
 They claim to be well known, but it seems that not many people know 
about them (in these parts at least).
